Throughout history, the normal and natural emotional lives of women have been pathologized as “madness.” Soprano soloist Emily Klassen collaborates with Rezonance to bring us a program in which each piece takes on a particular aspect of a woman’s inner life, presenting it to the audience for contemplation in the historical context, and perhaps so that we may find resonance with it in our own lives.
