Baroque Beauty- A Passion for Spring with Lavinia Ensemble

St. Olave's Anglican Church, 360 Windermere Avenue, Toronto, ON

Welcome to Baroque Beauty – a Passion for Spring

Come join Bloor West's very own Lavinia Ensemble , director Mark Whale, for a late Sunday afternoon concert of Baroque music. As the April evenings grow longer, migration is underway and Easter's in the air, the music reflects the time. Soprano, Aemelia Moser sings three sublime arias from Bach's St John's and Matthew's Passions; flautist, Lauren Yeomans performs Vivaldi's "La Notte" concerto; and the ensemble performs Bach's concerto for violin and oboe (Tyler Romesberg), Corelli's concerto grosso in C minor and Handel's "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba."

This in-person event is a must-attend for all classical music enthusiasts in Bloor West Village and the GTA . If you cannot be there in person, please join us online!
